How We Build Together
Every real project starts as an idea somebody is willing to say out loud. Here, that's exactly how it begins. A member brings something forward, and the people with the right skills and heart gather around it until a team takes shape. From there we campaign, openly, for whatever the project actually needs: skill, time, land, tools, and yes, capital too. And when the work is done, whether it's a well, a workshop, or a piece of the Sanctuary itself, it belongs to the community that built it.
One of the technologies making this possible is called blockchain. Picture a shared notebook that everyone can see but no single person or company controls, where every agreement, every contribution, and every promise gets written down once and stays there, plain and unchangeable. That's what lets a community raise land, tools, time, and money together and always know exactly who gave what and what was promised in return, without needing a bank or a lawyer standing in the middle. It's a technology built for trust, and trust is exactly what it takes to build something this big together.
The congregation's direction stays rooted in shared belief and calling. These tools exist for the work itself: raising what a project needs, tracking what's promised, and making sure what gets built belongs to the people who built it.
