Be Well Sanctuary is the physical expression of the ministry's philosophy — a living laboratory where the beliefs described elsewhere on this site are tested against soil, seasons, budgets, and human complexity.
It is not a retreat center in the conventional sense. It is a working demonstration that caring for the land and caring for people can be treated as a single practice.
Land
Land as Living Infrastructure
Thoughtful forest clearing and agroforestry reduce catastrophic wildfire risk while producing biomass for energy, food crops, and soil regeneration through biochar and regenerative grazing.
The land is not managed for appearance. It is managed as infrastructure — a system that produces resilience the same way it produces food and fuel.
Wellness Lodge
A Place to Return the Body to Balance
Hot and cold pools, filtration systems, and an amphitheater built for sound baths and ceremony give the Sanctuary's physical wellness practice a real, dedicated home.

Fabrication & Energy
Built By Hand, Powered By Ingenuity
Wood and metal fabrication shops build the Sanctuary's own infrastructure and prototype energy systems, including syngas complementary to solar.
Nothing here is theoretical. What's designed in the shop gets tested on the land the same season.

Co-Creating on the Land
Immersive workshops, retreats, and collaborative land-use agreements invite practitioners, innovators, and organizers to co-create on the land under transparent profit-sharing and milestone frameworks.

A Closed-Loop Practice
As a project of Be Well Ministries, contributions to the Sanctuary are eligible for tax receipts under the church's 508(c)(1)(A) status.
